On Monday Year 4 students went to Warrawong HS to participate in a sports gala day. They had lots of fun and participated in various sporting activities with other local schools.
Today students participated in the 2018 cross country race. All students ran the very best they could and put in an amazing effort. K-2 students ran 1 lap of the course and the older students ran either 3 or 4 laps. It was a huge effort and all students should be extremely proud of their efforts. Students participated in a whole day of rotational sporting activities, including AFL clinic, soccer clinic, surf life saving talk and other fun activities. A big thank you to all the guests that volunteered their time to run programs for our students today. A VERY BIG thank you to Miss Bollard for organising such a fun and successful day for our students. A lot of work, organisation and effort was put into making today happen and we appreciate all Miss Bollard's work she puts into making PKPS have the sporting opportunities they do.
Last week students from Year 5 and Year 6 attended 'Kickin with a Cuz'. Kickin with a Cuz football program is a not-for-profit initiative designed to reach young boys and girls through football, with a vision to create a sustainable pathway and outcomes centred around enabling kids to make better life choices. The program includes individual skills development, combined with strategic teamwork challenges, leadership and responsibility to give kids a great, fun and positive introduction to football. Students had a great day!
What a fun day we had at our annual athletics carnival. The sun was shinning and there were lots of smiling faces, having fun. Congratulations to all students who had a go and participated in all the activities. A special thank you to Miss Bollard for all her hard work and efforts in organising and running the day. It was a very successful carnival.
